Wings of the Lone Star State is a nonfiction book I designed that explores the diverse butterfly species found across Texas. Blending clear educational content with vibrant imagery, the book guides readers through identification, habitat, and unique characteristics of each butterfly.

This project was created in collaboration with my father, a Texas Master Naturalist, whose expertise shaped the research and storytelling. The book serves as both a visual celebration of Texas wildlife and a personal dedication to him, reflecting our shared love for nature and design.
